ViaMeet for operators

Outside guests, without the marketplace tax.

ViaMeet is the marketplace built into Tenvia Coworks. List a room or an event and anyone can book it. The fee comes out of your side, never added to the guest, never on your direct business, and never on a deposit. This page is for the operator. Guests and hosts have their own site: See ViaMeet.

5% on rooms, 3% on tickets, 0% on everything direct. No listing fee, no exclusivity.

How it works

Six rules, and none of them have an asterisk.

Opt in per room or per event

Each resource is shown, hidden or inherits the location’s setting. The boardroom can be on ViaMeet while the private offices stay off it. Events are listed one at a time.

Anyone can book

Guest checkout with a card, or a magic-link ViaMeet identity for people who come back. Your own members can book away at other listed spaces from inside your portal.

The fee comes from your side

The guest pays your price. The 5% on a room is taken from the operator’s side and snapshotted on the booking, so a rate change later never changes what was agreed.

Direct bookings are never charged

A booking from your own website, your portal or your front desk carries no ViaMeet fee, whether or not the room is listed.

A returning guest can book you direct at zero

The guest details are on your client record. When they come back through your site, that is a direct booking. No suspension for talking to your own customer.

Deposits are never commissioned

The fee applies to the booking value, not to the deposit you hold against it. A deposit returned is a deposit returned in full.

The fees

Three numbers, and three ways to carry the ticket fee.

The room fee is always on the operator’s side. The ticket fee is yours to place: on you, on the buyer, or split.

5%on a room booking that came through ViaMeet, taken from the operator, never added to the guest, never on the deposit
3%on a paid ticket sold through ViaMeet, carried by the host, the guest or split, your choice per event
0%on every direct booking, ticket, membership and mailbox, listed or not

HOST

You carry the 3%. The buyer pays the ticket price you set and nothing more.

GUEST

The 3% is added at checkout and shown to the buyer as a fee. You receive the full ticket price.

SPLIT

Half and half. 1.5% comes from your side, 1.5% is added to the buyer’s total.

Card processing is separate and goes to Stripe at Stripe’s published Canadian rates on every booking, direct or marketplace. Coworks-hosted events sold from your own pages are not ViaMeet sales and carry no ViaMeet fee.

Payouts

To your own bank, through Stripe.

You connect a bank account once through Stripe Connect Express. ViaMeet ticket revenue pays out to it 24 hours after the event, net of card processing and the fee. Room bookings settle to the same account. A room or an event is not listed until payouts are set up, so nothing is ever sold that cannot be paid.

  • Stripe Connect Express, your own account, your own bank
  • Ticket payout 24 hours after the event, no reserve held
  • The fee is taken on the way through, never invoiced to you later
  • Every payout on the same ledger as the rest of the month

What it is not

Three things ViaMeet will never be.

Not a directory with a subscription

There is no listing fee and no monthly charge to appear. A room that never gets a ViaMeet booking costs nothing to list.

Not exclusive

List the same room on Peerspace, on Tagvenue, on your own site. ViaMeet takes its fee only on the bookings it brought you.

Not the owner of your customer

The guest lands on your client record with their history. You may email them, quote them, invoice them and book them direct next time. ViaMeet does not stand between you.

Compared

What the marketplaces take.

The venue marketplaces charge the host and the guest, and several forbid you from talking to the guest afterwards. Here is the take rate, side by side.

Third-party fees are published or reviewer-reported as of September 2026 and change without notice, so confirm with each vendor. All product names are trademarks of their respective owners. The $600 column is illustrative and excludes card processing on every row.

A room at $150 an hour, booked for four hours

The booking is $600. Here is what reaches the operator's account.

Coworks App is your own booking page, with no platform fee. ViaMeet takes 5%, and only when it brought the guest. The marketplaces fold card processing into their cut, so their column reads Included. Ours is shown at 2.9% plus 30 cents, the standard published card rate.

List a room. Keep the customer.

Listing takes a few minutes if you already run Tenvia Coworks. If you do not yet, book a demo and we will show you both sides.
